And here is a statement issued just a little while ago by Americans Against Escalation in Iraq:

Today Americans Against Escalation in Iraq (AAEI) launched the first in a series of television ads to denounce U.S. Rep. Thelma Drake's continued support of President Bush's reckless and costly policy of endless war in Iraq, which the president's top military advisers now suggest may require a national draft to sustain. The first ad, dubbed "Draft," demands that Congresswoman Drake take a stand to end the war and will air in college towns in the 2nd District on local network television, as well as on ESPN to reach a younger audience - constituents that may have a particular interest in knowing that the Bush administration is considering a military draft and that their Congresswoman supports an endless war policy that may require one.
