Marc Cadin (R-Insurance Industry) is attempting one of the most brazen flip-flops I have ever seen in local politics...in a new ad he is now attacking Delegate Chuck Caputo for his vote in favor of the transportation bill, a position Cadin took himself - while strenuously demanding Gov. Kaine sign the bill - only months ago. He has scrubbed his website of his old position, and has posted his gear-stripping shift of position which is there now....
His June 2007 position read...
"I applaud the Republican General Assembly's passage of the most sweeping transportation legislation in a generation. For the sake of working families such as mine, I hope that the Governor will soon recognize the leadership of the General Assembly on this issue and sign the bill into law"

As I
pointed out in a post this morning, I find it quite interesting that in 2004 Republicans thought flip-flopping was the worst thing a candidate could do, but now Cadin is using it in order to launch a smear campaign.
