Just when you think you've seen it all, Jerry W. Kilgore comes out against christianity.

I can't believe it.

Today, Jerry W. Kilgore dug down into the slime of Rovian politics to come up with a despicable "Hitler" ad smearing Tim Kaine's court-appointed death penalty work.  Discussions here and here.

As a Christian, Tim Kaine objects to the death penalty as an issue of faith.  I suppose that makes sense, considering that Jesus Christ is the world's most famous death penalty victim.  Kaine has vowed to execute death penalty verdicts because it's the law.  Apparently, that just isn't good enough for Mr. Kilgore.

Jerry W. Kilgore's despicable "Hitler" ad, essentially attacks Tim Kaine for doing his court-appointed duty in defending death row inmates, and goes on to say that he's untrustworthy because he has a faith-based opposition to the death penalty.

Essentialy, Kilgore is saying that Kaine is untrustworthy because of his belief in Christ.

Tim Kaine has said time and again that he'll execute death penalty verdicts when jurys deliver them.  Kilgore's ad implies that because Tim Kaine is a Christian, he can't be trusted.  Yeah, those insidious untrustworthy Christians, they'll sneak up and stab you in the back if you trust them.

Why does Jerry W. Kilgore hate christianity?

Ok, now if that wasn't enough, today George W. Bush today came out against the US Constitution.

I couldn't make this stuff up.
