This event looks like a good one: Sen. John Edwards, House Minority Leader Ward Armstrong and House Caucus Chairman Brian Moran at "a lunch benefiting the 2007 House of Delegates Campaigns."  The event is Tuesday, July 31 at The Sheraton Premiere in Vienna.  The VIP reception begins at 11 AM, with general admission tickets going for $50 (and only $35 for Young Dems).

For more information, e-mail Will Frank or call (804) 644-1966, ext 236.

By the way, I hope to see all the leading Democratic 2008 candidates doing fundraisers like this for our General Assembly candidates.  The goal is for Virginia to be competitive in November 2008, and this is definitely part of what will get us there.

I already got my ticket. Edwards gave a fantastic speech at the YDA Convention last Friday and got multiple standing ovations. I look forward to hearing him speak once again on Tuesday.

sorry not to make it (pvogel - 7/26/2007 2:34:29 PM)

After Shrillary and Barack duke it out, the voting will begin! Each of the two so-called front runners, however qualified, have major flaws. John Edwards is by far the most Progressive candidate and will build strength with close but clear victories in NH SC and Neverada (have you ever driven across that state?) Obama clearly will be his running mate.
IMHO, that's the best scenario? No?
