Breaking: Dems Call for Special Counsel to Investigate A-Gon

From the Associated Press:
Senate Democrats called Thursday for a special counsel to investigate whether Attorney General Alberto Gonzales perjured himself regarding the firings of U.S. attorneys and administration dissent over President Bush's domestic surveillance program.

hell yeh. "Bout damn time. Even though we know they wil invoke "executive privilege" on Rove, it still makes for great press coverage. And the rethugs will be tanking from the prez candidates to local school board candidates (if they aren't  already).

"GetOn" with it rather than wait out the clock and "hope" that we can "MoveOn" when the 2008 elections are over.

To hell with waiting for Josh Marshall to support, and other's to catch up, with where the American public already is.  Nothing worthwhile is going to be easy.  Seem's a lot of Dem's figure that "if we make enough noise" the Repug's will fall in line and give "a little".  Sure, when hell freeze's over.

Democracy takes guts, if the Dem's don't have the guts to GetOn with it, just say so and we'll adjust accordingly in 08.  Nothing to keep charges of "high crimes and misdemeanors", perhaps even Treason (please God!) from being pursued against BushCo come 09.
