A few quick points for Bill O'LIElly:
1) Daily Kos, like MyDD and Raising Kaine, are self-policing COMMUNITY websites. That means that you can get people making stupid and/or offensive comments.
2) Out of the millions of comments on Daily Kos the past few years, let's just say 1% or 2% have been offensive in one way or the other. That would still leave 98%-99% that are NOT offensive in any way. Often, those 1%-2% are "troll rated" by the community, but yes, sometimes an offensive comment will appear on Daily Kos. Does that mean the blog is a "hate site?" By that reasoning, the United States is a hate COUNTRY because 1% or 2% of the population are haters. Whatever, Mr. O'LIElly.
3) O'LIElly is the last one to talk. On HIS show, he's had hate-monger Ann Coulter as a frequent guest, even agreeing with her insults of the 9/11 widows. Aside from the digusting Coulter, O'LIElly's also hosted "Michael Savage, who has called MLK Jr. Day a 'racket' designed to steal `white males' birthright.'" He's hosted "David Horowitz, who has called Democrats `apologists for terrorists.'"
In other words, Bill O'LIElly has no idea what he's talking about with regard to Daily Kos. On second thought, maybe he knows EXACTLY what he's talking about, and is just blatantly lying in order to stir up controversy. That is, after all, what the guy does for a living. But why does anyone watch him, that's my question.
