I just signed up to attend this fascinating Virginia Political History Project conference at the Jefferson Hotel, 101 West Franklin Street in Richmond this Friday, July 27, running from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The registration deadline is July 23.  Go here to sign up.  Let me know if you wanna ride up with me.

VA Political History Project

Below the fold is the conference schedule which is entitled "A Decade of Political Change".  A lotta great political minds gathered in one place at one time.  How could I miss it!?!  HOWEVER (and that's a big HOWEVER)... painfully missing from this discussion, especially the look to 2007 and 2009, are any bloggers serving on the panels.  That's a big mistake!

I take it that attendance is free? (teacherken - 7/21/2007 11:34:25 AM)
If so I might be interested, but I would be coming from a different direction.

I had my credit card ready and waiting, but I clicked through the registration form, got my confirmation email and never had to input any numbers! Strange, I agree.

right now I am scheduled to get fitted for a crown at 10 that morning.  Unless I can move that appointment to another day, I will not be in Richmond.  Take good notes.

Breaking news above .. TeacherKen to get crowned (Shawn - 7/22/2007 11:31:54 AM)

The Bush administration today announced a pilot project titled "No Teacher Left Behind"  (NTLB).  The President was heard saying "...people complain we don't pay out teachers enough so I thought ...let's give them crowns"
