Kaine takes $$ from education (Concerned Virginian - 7/17/2007 10:52:17 PM)
I just wanted to take a moment and point out to everyone that Governor Kaine has been a big supporter of the Abuser Fees since the transportation debate first began, although he would like to pretend otherwise.

Much of the criticism has fallen upon the shoulders of Del. Dave Albo and the GOP House, when it should have been falling upon the Governor.  He has been a vocal supporter of Abuser Fees to generate transportation revenue since taking office in January of 2006 where he said his transportation plan would include enhanced fees for abusive drivers.  Not only did he support these hated fees, but Gov. Kaine was also sole person who eliminated out of state drivers from having to pay.  This not only caused unequal treatment between Virginians and Non-Virginians, but even worse, it eliminated an additional funding source for education!

This education revenue loss can be attributed to, not only Governor Kaine, but also Delegates Kris Amundson, Ward Armstrong, Bill Barlow, Dan Bowling, Bob Brink, Adam Ebbin, Al Eisenberg, David Englin, Frank Hall, Bob Hull, Jennifer McClellan, Don McEachin, Brian Moran, Bud Phillips, Ken Plum, Jim Scott, Jim Shuler, David Toscano,
Roslyn Tyler, Shannon Valentine, Jeion Ward, and Vivian Watts.

You may also thank Senators Chuck Colgan, Creigh ?Dirty? Deeds, John Edwards, Mark Herring, Edd Houck, Janet Howell, Benny Lambert, Henry Marsh, Yvonne Miller, Russ Potts, Phil Puckett, Toddy Puller, Roscoe Reynolds, Patsy Ticer, and Mary Margaret Whipple.
