Bush/Cheney: How Much Chutzpah?

We have seen the chutzpah of the Bush/Cheney administration manifested, time and again, in many different ways.  Disregard for the rights and wishes of voters and citizens.  Disregard for international laws and customs.  Disregard for allies and for world opinion.  Disregard for science, reason, and truth.  Disregard for our Constitution, the very foundation of our democracy.  Disregard for the rule of law.

And now, with the commutation of Scooter Libby's sentence, blatant disregard for the fundamental principle that no man is above the law.

Just when we think that one outrageous example of Bush/Cheney chutzpah cannot be surpassed, up pops another example.

So, based on our six long years' experience, I propose that we get ahead of the curve and predict the next example of unbridled chutzpah before it occurs.

He will be awarded (Lowell - 7/3/2007 11:55:31 AM)
the Medal of Freedom, just like L. Paul "Jerry" Bremer, George "Slam Dunk" Tenet, and Tommy "Bush is an American Hero" Franks.

You're Right. (Susan P. - 7/3/2007 1:27:26 PM)
Bush and Cheney probably got Halliburton or one of their other corporate buddies to strike up a whole drawerful of those medals, to be passed out like candy so they can get through the next year and a half without anybody squealing.
