Help Make a More Representative Govt. This July 4th

Independence Day--- a time to celebrate our freedom and to continue the push for a more representative government.  In a swing state, Democrats shouldn't have only 3 of 11 Congressional seats.  That's not representative government.

Democrats need to take control of the state legislature to bring some equity to the way these districts are drawn. So this Independence Day, why not help a local Democratic Committee engage with the voters of Virginia?

Democrats from all localities are invited to participate with city and county Democratic Committees at 4th of July events this week.  Helping out at these events is fun and great outreach.

Below the fold is a sampling of some local Hampton Roads committees' activities this 4th of July.  All Democrats are encouraged to join in.  I had a blast last year marching in the parade in Cape Charles.  This year I'll be marching in the Yorktown parade in the morning and then I'll head over to the committee booth in Newport News. Should be a great time with Democrats...
