Linda Smyth Victory Party

A friend of mine was at the Linda Smyth victory party last night. She told me that the party was "not well attended," only about 35 people. Also, my friend says that Linda didn't mention Charlie Hall, who barely lost to her for Providence District supervisor, but thanked people for "helping me over that little effort a couple weeks ago." There was no acknowledgment that Charlie Hall even existed, let alone that he had run a well-fought campaign. Another person who Linda Smyth didn't acknowledge was Chap Petersen, even though the Providence district overlaps with the 34th State Senate district where Petersen is running against Jeannemarie Devolites-Davis. Finally, after some "prodding," Del. Robert Hull mentioned Chap, since Linda didn't.
