I read a story about this game in the Washington Post a few weeks ago. This is the URL for the redistricting game:

If you are into politics, this game is fun. F-U-N! My wife had to drag me away from the computer twice over the weekend.

In the game you get a few challenges, each one teaching you one aspect about redistricting.

The most satisfying challenge is when one has to pull a Delay and redistrict so that the state will gain another Democratic representative. :)

The most fun is the bipartisan challenge, where the goal is to give every incumbent 55% advantage or more. It makes me happy to make everyone happy. :)

The lamest one is the challenge about implementing redistricting reform. It proposes some kind of bipartisan committee. It is lame because that is not really reform, but shifting partisanship influence to another level.

Proportional representation would solve the gerrymander issue, but that is not going happen since it requires a constitutional amendment.
