The Sequoia was the personal yacht for Presidents including FDR and JFK and is rumored to have been the site of some interesting and historically significant events.
Now, the private owner is hosting a reception and private cruise. House Democratic Caucus Chairman Brian Moran will be there also.
For $50, you can come to the dockside reception, complete with open bar. It's located one block from the Southwest Metro stop on the Orange Line
The VIP cruise is a little more expensive, but definitely worth it.
