Here's the headline:
Cole leads Del Toro in funds for House race
Here's what the "article" actually says:
Republican Del. Mark Cole raised slightly more money than Democratic challenger Carlos Del Toro over the past two months, but Del Toro still has more money as the candidates vie for the 88th District House of Delegates seat.

Finance reports filed Monday show that Cole raised $48,758 in the last reporting period, compared to Del Toro's $36,234.

Del Toro maintains a lead in overall funds on-hand, though, despite having spent about $8,000 more than Cole so far in the race.

Del Toro started June with nearly $98,000 in the bank, compared to Cole's $84,000.

Love that liberal media!
Oh yeah, and almost half of that $48,758 is from other Republican delegates like House Speaker Bill Howell. Unfortunately that means that the cat's out of the bag and the GOP has figured out what a threat Carlos has become.

RK, Act Blue, and many others have done an AMAZING job for the Del Toro campaign in the fundraising department. But this is just the beginning. Remember, you don't have to be from the 88th district to volunteer (heck I live in Fredericksburg and I'm not even in the 88th). Between this race and Albert Pollard's bid to take Chichester's seat in the Senate, Stafford Co. is quickly becoming ground zero for turning the General Assembly blue. We. Can. Do it. Carlos Del Toro for Delegate!.
