Bush Falls Further, Only 14% "Strongly Approve"

The polls just keep looking worse for George W. Bush.  Here's the latest from AP-Ipsos, indicating that only 14% of Americans "strongly approve" of the job Bush is doing as President.  In contrast, 48% of Americans "strongly disapprove."  Ouch, Mr. President!

One result from the poll that I found interesting was that, although Americans identify themselves more with Democrats than with Republicans by an 18-point margin (54%-36%), they simultaneously self-identify more as "conservative" (36%) than liberal (26%).  Actually, it appears that the total "conservative" percentage is exactly the same as the self-identified Republican share.  Could it be that Republicans are down to their hard-core base, and that everyone else is leaning towards the Democrats?  Also interesting is that only 9% of Americans self-identify as "definitely independent."  That's far lower than I would have thought, given how many people like to say they're independents.

What do you think?

Mathematically, these numbers can't go below 0%, can they?

These have to be the most gullible people in America.  I have a few maps to Atlantis that I would like to unload, they get a special rate of only $39.95.
