As anyone with but the faintest interest in football knows, the latter Doug is the guy who actually completed the most famous "Hail Mary" play, a last-second ultra-long pass that beat a top-ranked Florida football powerhouse and made the miniature quarterback and his Boston College team a national legend. Doug Flutie is not playing football now and probably is available for any administrative job that requires heroics, which this Prez could use. Bush should acknowledge his mistake and correct the error.
