According to the article, Joannou "opposed tax increases for road improvements twice in five years" and "voted against a 2004 plan to increase the sales tax to send new money to schools." Tellingly, Joannou is praised by Delegate Vincent F. Callahan Jr. (R).
Meanwhile, Henry Light has been endorsed by "popular former Gov. Mark R. Warner and Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim." For voters in Portsmouth, Norfolk, Chesapeake and Suffolk next Tuesday, this should be an easy choice: Henry Light for Delegate!
