Jim Webb on NBC Nightly News

According to Senator Webb's office, he will be on NBC Nightly News tonight "for a segment on the Army's use of body armor and his call, with Senator Clinton, for an investigation into the effectiveness of body armor issued to our troops." I'm looking forward to it.

so they could talk about religion on the internet? Huh? And I should care more about that than about whether our troops are getting the best armor? OMG, now they're talking about a guy who "attends" internet church as a "cheetah"? Boy, that's news I have to hear.

...but at least Brian Williams is better than the utterly abominable Katie Couric, who has dumbed down the evening news to a level I never thought possible. She's absolutely unwatchable; if Walter Cronkite were dead, he'd be rolling around in his grave. As it is, he must cringe every time he sees what has become of his once proud news show... :(

Now, please vote NO on the supplemental. The illegal actions of this administration and the president's temper tantrums do not deserve a blank check. The Democrats were right on in offering support and equipment needed for the troops. The president decided their action wasn't support for the troops. But he is the deceitful person using our military as human sacrifices for his stupidity, arrogance, and selfishness.
