Can anyone lend me $250???


I rsvp'd as soon as I got first invitation (teacherken - 5/12/2007 2:02:58 PM)
which had the street name wrong as I discovered when I tried to find it on mapquest!  That didn't stop me.

Here I note that as a school teacher with limited funds,$250 for a race in which I cannot vote is unusual.  Yeah I gave a congressional candidate in WA state 500, but he was my college classmate.  And the 4 figure sum to JIm Webb, well I could and did vote for him - twice (remember we did have a primary).

I cannot vote for Don until he runs again statewide.  But I want to see him in office.  And the contrast between Don standing up for Jim in a primary and Bennie supporting Allen is all that needs to be said.

BTW, I ran into Peter R at Starbucks this morning, and we are both looking forward to Monday evening.
