Holding on to my wallet - no contributions until issues stated clearly

Today I got my first campaign call for the 2008 Democratic Presidential race.  First, let me just say as someone who has made those calls I am always tempted to donate something.  This one was for Obama who is my second favorite - and in all honesty the one with the best website when it comes to positions.

However, this time around I have decided to guard my wallet when it comes to individual contributions until such a time that I feel the candidate has adequately stated policy positions on their website.

Last week I posted a diary about how none of the candidates have made enough of an effort when it comes to their positions.  I know what they say publicly, but they speak in abstract terms.  When they start providing specifics I'll start opening my wallet.  Should I hold my breath on this one?

News Flash - Clinton campaign improves website (relawson - 5/9/2007 10:31:10 PM)
Last week when I complained about campaign websites and their lack of issues, the Clinton campaign didn't bother to list positions on important issues.

Since that diary, things have changed.  Her positions are clear.  I am sorry to say that the candidate I support the most is the one now trailing the pack when it comes to stating his positions on his website.  Edwards has to catch up in this area.  I hope someone from his campaign is reading this!!!  Send out an SOS to his campaign as they need to get their webmaster busy on this.
