Richmond Public Schools Improving Rapidly

I saw this on Michael Shear's "Race to Richmond" Washington Post blog, signed by "Carol A.O. Wolf, Richmond School Board Member."

Thanks in large part to the moral and financial support of Tim Kaine and Mark Warner, Richmond Public Schools yesterday announced that preliminary SOL results show 43 of 50 schools are now accredited -- up from just 10 schools three years ago. For the first time ever, all of Richmond's high schools are accredited and there are roughly 1,300 MORE students enrolled today than there were a year ago on this date.

Richmond owes a huge thank you to the Warner-Kaine team and especially to Tim Kaine who has demonstrated in word and deed that public education can deliver.

I am sure that as the rest of the districts throughout the Commonwealth receive their SOL numbers, we will all see how important it is to continue the important work that the Warner-Kaine Administration has begun.

Thanks to Carol A.O. Wolf for strongly reaffirming what I already believed: that Tim Kaine will be the Education Governor for All Virginians.  And congratulations to the Richmond Public Schools for their accomplishments, and to the Warner/Kaine Administration for helping them get there!

P.S.  This achievement must be part of the ?cesspool of corruption? in Richmond that Kilgore spoke of during the Greenbrier, West Virginia debate.  Heh.
