Rex has a great grasp of transportation and legislative issues. We need more trains, less cars.
I vote no death penalty at all...have supported it for years but see too many instances used on innocent people. Believe me life in prison is plenty; maybe more punishment.
Rex's positions on emissions are solid; but we need to cut auto use; maybe mandate one day/week when a car can't be used? Cutting auto use will take political guts but improve all lives.
For water quality problems look no further than my favorite creek: Accotink in Fairfax; I live on it but needs help. Thanks Duane.
I like Rex's response on immigrants: they are people too. I'm happy to promote their health and education with my taxes; they are mostly honest hard-working folks like my grandparents who came to this country.
