Tonight (Sunday) night at 8 PM, Ben and I will, as he puts it, "host the first ever internet House of Delegates debate on our BlogTalkRadio show."  The candidates are Rip Sullivan and Margi Vanderhye, competing for the Democratic House of Delegates nomination in the 34th district (McLean).

The debate will last for 1 hour, and will feature Del. Kris Amundson as moderator and lead questioner.  We will be taking two call-in questions in each of the first two rounds at (646) 652-2679.  You can listen live here.

Anyway, check it out if you're interested.  I believe this is the first netroots debate of its kind.

Thank you Ben, Lowell and Kris.  I enjoyed the opportunity to share my views and thoughts.  I ask for all readers here to support my campaign, whether that's with your time, energy, money or if you're in the 34th, your vote.  I would love to hear your feedback about tonight's forum and my campaign in general.  Please don't hesitate to email me at margi@vanderhye.com!

Thank you!

Thank you for participating! (Lowell - 4/22/2007 9:06:43 PM)
The show should be archived in the next few hours, and I'll post the link so you can refer people to it.  Thanks again.

Thanks (Rip Sullivan - 4/23/2007 9:55:24 AM)
I had a great time on last night's radio show.  Thanks to Lowell, Ben, and Kris for hosting.

If anyone has a question for me that didn't get asked last night, or would like to get involved in the campaign, please contact me through my website or call (703) 288 2995.  My family and I are having a lot of fun with this campaign, and we'd love to have any of you join us.

Thanks Rip, much appreciated. (Lowell - 4/23/2007 11:24:58 AM)
I thought the debate went very well.

Great job by BOTH candidates. The voters of the 34th District will be well represented by either of these folks.
