128%

The other day, I asked you all to come up with some cash to help rebuild county Democratic parties.  You went above and beyond my expectations by helping us leave our goal in the dust, coming up with more than 128% of our goal!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  With your help, we will continue to rebuild the Democratic party from the ground up.  If you'd like to make a donation now, that's great.  Just click the "click and pledge" logo at the top right of the screen.

But I'm not writing to ask for more money.  I'm writing about what we have to do to win this race.  We know that Kaine is drawing closer to Kilgore, and is even polling within the marign of error.  The Republicans are getting scared, and they're going to go all out between now and November to win.  Simply matching the 100% they're going to give isn't enough.  Just like we did yesterday, we need to give 128%.  It may sound corny, but its true.  Think about it.  What is it worth to you to ensure that Tim Kaine gets elected in November?  If it was worth going to one phone bank, go to two.  If it was worth two hours in the sun canvassing, make it three or four.  If it was worth fifty bucks, make it sixty.  We need to win, and we simply cannot win if we do not all give everything we have between now and Novmber 8th.

Here is a list of things you can do and events to go to to help elect Tim Kaine and other Democrats in November.  If every Kaine supporter participates in at least one or two, we will win.

sam,
this is too important to let it fall down below the fold.  Could you post this as a consistent "calendar" page and do updates?
