Ralph Northam Has $$$ Coming in at "Torrid Pace"

Ralph Northam, the Democratic candidate for Senate in the 6th district, will be filing his financial reports showing a little over $170,000 raised from about 150 donors. Cash on hand will be a little over $150,000.

And he didn't stop there. I understand that fundraising in April continues at a torrid pace. In the meantime, current seat occupant Nick Rerras has had no fundraisers since the General Assembly session concluded, making me think that his fundraising in the first quarter will be lackluster. Rerras had just over $110,000 on hand at the end of 2006.

Needless to say, this is great news!  As we all know, Rerras is a Republican of the far right "religious" persuasion.  He's also an embarassment in general, as Jen Little reported, who refers to women as "feminazis" and who left a female court candidate "Shocked, offended and embarrassed."  The bottom line: Rerras has to go, and Ralph Northam is exactly what the Doctor ordered! :)
