Is Maxine Rocking the Boat for a Prospective Attorney General?

Maxine Hope Roles has entered the race for the 26th District Senate Seat in Virginia against incumbent Mark Obenshain.

Maxine is campaigning to "bring the people's voice back into government."  Maxine has gone on the record as saying that "when citizens of a district choose a representative to go to Richmond, they entrust them with the authority to act on the people's behalf, not to further their own personal political agendas."

Is Maxine throwing a wrench in Mark's plan to be the next Republican candidate for Attorney General of Virginia?

It appears that the incumbent, Mark Obenshain, has been submitting legislation for the past four years that would bolster his chances of a bid for Attorney General, rather than legislation that truly focuses on the rural district he represents.  However, in recent news articles, Obenshain has been elusive about whether or not he will run for AG in 2009, just one year into the next Senate term.

Can the voters trust Mark Obenshain to actually represent them vigorously as a Senator, or is he just using this seat to campaign for higher office?

Don't just rock the boat, Maxine.  Roll the boat over.

We need a candidate who is not afraid to stand up against the Allen flunkies and stand up for smart on crime ideas.

Obenshain is another one of the Allen fakes who want you to be scared into believing they are doing something about crime.  It is time we stop falling for the rhetoric.
