Well, the results are in, and it's a unanimous verdict (5-0 internally, a 36-9 lopsided community vote in favor of Light, with 7 voting for "no endorsement"): Raising Kaine is endorsing Henry Light to be the Democratic nominee for House of Delegates from the 79th District!What does this mean practically speaking? First, we have added Henry Light to our ActBlue/RK fundraising page.
Second, we will announce this endorsement with a mass e-mail to the media, etc.
Third, we will provide Henry Light with front-page coverage of his events and other news.
Fourth, there's the snazzy logo Henry Light can add to his web page, literature, etc. if he'd like.
Finally, we will be discussing our reasons for opposing the current incumbent, Johnny "Roadblock" Joannou, in coming weeks. We hope to make clear why Henry Light would be a far superior choice in this "safe Democratic" district.
