Polls close in less than three hours.  Hurry, hurry, hurry.  This is it.  Last chance.  Now or never.  Vote now or forever hold your peace.  Or should that be "piece"?  Ha! I know the NRA would love that.

Anyway, we'll be announcing the RK endorsement, if there is one, later today.  Drop by this afternoon to find out if there were any surprise twists in this plot.  Ya never know...

Joannou on the wrong side of history (Drexler - 4/13/2007 12:53:56 PM)
The latest Greenburg-Quinlan poll shows a significant partisan realignment underway in this country.  It began after Katrina and continues as disgust with the failed mission in Iraq and the serial corruption scandals coming out of Washington, D.C. deepen.

The pollsters point out that this trend becomes "even more evident when one gets to issues and values, to party images and competing narratives about the country's future and priorities.  With this landscape, many more voters - in fact, by almost 10 points (34 to 25 percent) - are paying attention to the Democrats and say they plan to participate in their primary.  And perhaps most important, the polarized views of primary voters on both sides are likely to further marginalize the Republicans and identify the Democrats as relevant for these times."

Joannou's time has passed him by.  He became a reliable tool for the GOP when that party was riding high.  Now he's trying to crawl back to the Democrats.  We don't need him.  Neither does the 79th.
