Global Warming Awareness Event Saturday

Don't be fooled by the recent freakish weather patterns.  This past Winter was the warmest in all recorded history and the arctic ice melting has increased ten fold in the last two years.  It's time to take action and spread the word.  This next Sarturday April 14th, tens of thousands of Americans will gather in communities all across the country to call on Congress to "Step It Up" and cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050. With Delegate Adam Ebbin, Sen. Patsy Ticer and Mayor Eueille speaking.

As we set sail to prematurely found Trashmore Island (aka Mount Trashmore), because to put things in perspective, with less than 10 feet of sea level rise, Mt. Trashmore would be completely surrounded by water.

If you are going to be a Trashmore, you could put lines on the hill with 3 meter, 4 meter, etc lines indicating sea rise. Then take photos with kids/adults there ... eventually, "would drown with this level of sea rise" as a potential caption ... A thought.
