I have confirmed that Chap Petersen and Janet Oleszek each will report that they have more than $100,000 "cash on hand" at the end of the first quarter.  Thats' extremely impressive; in fact, it's the first time in Virginia history that a State Senate challenger will have over $100,000 cash on hand after the first quarter of the year.  Congratulations to both campaigns; Jeannemarie Devolites-Davis and Ken Cuccinelli should be worried!

P.S. If you want to give to Chap and Janet, simply click here.  Thanks.

P.P.S.  As of 12/31/06, according to VPAP, Jeannemarie Devolites-Davis had $542,889 cash on hand, while Ken Cuccinelli had $160,980.  Let's make both Chap and Janet competitive with JMDD and Cooch.

Me Thinks (pitin - 4/2/2007 12:45:51 PM)
That this just shows the momentum that Northern Virginia Democrats have going at the moment, and that in the first freaking quarter of 2007, and right after exhausting ourselves getting Webb elected, we're contributing to campaigns.  Donor fatigue my ass.  Dems are out there raising money, knocking on doors and taking names! I for one am excited!

PS: For the record, I've left my job as Finance Director of Janet Oleszek for Senate to focus on my school work (Imagine that!) and accepted a position as State Director of Students for Barack Obama.

That Barack something!  I donated to Edwards, and I hope Barack is the number 2 guy this time, since he's young enough to help the country for a lot longer than the next two Presidential terms.
