Hats off to Dan Smolen and Tres Seaver, Chairs of the Stafford and Fredericksburg Committees.  Each has included grassroots tools on their websites to help area Democratic workers understand and learn grassroots techniques and work.

The Stafford County's website, under the "Downloads" selection, lists useful handbooks that have been compiled by others to help out grassrooters.  I know that Stafford is working diligently on their own "tools"; but what a great thing to do to give us all good examples of "roots' work"!http://www.staffordd...

And Fredericksburg's Chair has rightly included the 2005 Party Leadership Manual (see left sidebar) on their webpage.  http://fredericksbur...

We need more of this kind of leadership!

And hats off to Chair Barbara Burgess in Fauquier.  Her newsletter is letting everyone know what is going on there in the Democratic community!

I am proud of the increasing number of hard working chairs in the 1st Disrtict ... Dan, Tres and Barbara are great examples of new leadership helping to move our party forward ...  we also have a new chair in Prince William ... and plenty of great examples of real accomplishments from Fauquier to Hampton ... and from Northumberland to Caroline.

Anyone that needs to hook up with any of them can visit
