We're doing great on our ActBlue netroots fundraising drive, passing $2,000 for Del. Donald McEachin, and $3,750 total.  Now, let's see if we can keep it coming.  For some motivation, here's an e-mail I received from Donald McEachin:

Dear Ben, Lowell, and the fine readers of Not Larry Sabato and Raising Kaine,

I want to express my deepest thanks for the support that the netroots have shown me over the past few days.  To be able to raise over $2000 in such a short period of time shows the powerful impact of the tireless energy of Virginia's blossoming internet activist community.  Ben and Lowell, a special thanks to you for sponsoring the Donald-thon and inviting me to be a guest on Blog Talk Radio.  This is exactly the kind of energetic kickoff that I was able to witness for both Tim Kaine and Jim Webb early on in their elections and I look forward to working with you all, just as they did, in the coming months.  Please continue to check in on my campaign on donaldmceachin.com which will be revamped and relaunched very shortly.  I will also be sure to return to your blogs soon.

Yours Humbly,
Delegate Donald McEachin

Nice.  Donald McEachin is a class act, and I urge everyone to support him (and the other Democratic candidates) every way you can!  Thanks.

Last night's radio show and the tremendous outpouring of donations to such a fine man is just awesome, and I am proud to be part of Team McEachin.

Great news. (JPTERP - 3/5/2007 9:14:47 PM)
I haven't been able to ante yet, but will do my part the next payday.  Those dollars should go even further in a state election.

Really glad to see this.

Dollars definitely go further in local/state elections (Lowell - 3/5/2007 9:17:48 PM)
...so thanks to everyone who's donated, and let's keep it going for Chap, Janet, Donald, Carlos, Bruce, and Troy!

Can't wait (pitin - 3/6/2007 3:14:54 AM)
until we see this "revamped" Donald McEachin website, I wonder what new sorts of stuff it can have, say I don't know, Donald McEachin for Senate written all over it...yeah, it's gonna be great.
