Clark: No Decision for at Least 3 Months

This is not a good sign for Clark supporters. Someone posted on the Clark Community Network that when he asked the General if he would declare in the next 3 months, the response was no. Clark then went on to say that when you're a candidate people don't take your positions as seriously because they assume there's an angle. Very good point, but I think this is one of the final nails in the coffin for Clark '08.

Personally, I suspect he's auditioning for the no. 2 spot on the ticket, and I can't think of a better choice. Sure he's a former General, which is great, but he's also becoming one of the real authorities on problems in the Middle East as a whole. All while staying active in politics and important causes, and not ruffling the feathers of any of the actual Dem. candidates running for President.

Chris - I was there in the room. It is not true. There is no change in Wes's status whatsoever. I've been posting denials all over the place. Wes talks straight and informally. It was a misunderstanding on behalf of a supporter.

Jim Webb for Senate 2006 = Wes Clark for President 2008

That has a certain familiar ring to it...

Thanks again!
