Here are just a few photos from the 2007 Virginia state JJ dinner.  Also included are photos from Creigh Deeds' afternoon panel on the 2006 elections, as well as from Chap Petersen's fundraiser/reception prior to the dinner.

Lots more photos on the "flip."

Sounds like it went very well. I'll definitely have to contact them to get my tickets earlier next year -- waited too long this time.

I'd been planning to stop by for the Webb event anyway on my way down to Virginia Beach yesterday, but unfortunately got stuck in traffic on my way out of NoVA.

So did Webb (Josh - 2/18/2007 9:58:27 AM)
He was stuck in traffic from DC to Richmond after the Iraq vote and didn't make it to his own reception. He did finally make it to the dinner, and his speech was great.  VA Dems LOVE Jim Webb!

That's what I figured (Greg - 2/18/2007 11:21:52 AM)
Given the time the Senate adjourned yesterday, and assuming Jim got on the road shortly thereafter, I was thinking he was probably stuck in the same traffic jam.

BTW - kinda ironic to have to deal with more NoVA traffic woes on the way to Richmond...

Yeah, traffic was awful heading down (Lowell - 2/18/2007 12:26:23 PM)
Saturday morning.  Very strange...I usually don't have any problem heading down to Richmond as soon as I get out of NOVA.

Here are a few of my pics (pitin - 2/18/2007 11:22:16 AM)
Would have made a diary, but mostly me and my friends, and I'm not that cool to get my own diary, so without further delay...

Chairman Cranwell meets the GMU Democrats.

Coolest guy ever!! If you ever get a chance to meet Commander del Toro, ask him about the Goya story, he'll know what you mean.

A little Latino caucus with Commander del Toro and the GMU Democrats.

and finally,

Joe Montano (of the 50 State strategy fame) supporting the local economy down in Richmond.
