Just a "heads up" if you didn't know about this.  On Saturday, from 5 to 6 PM prior to the DPVA's annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Richmond, Jim Webb will be hosting a "thank you reception" that's open to everyone.  It will be in the junior ballroom (B-15) at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.  Should be fun!

P.S.  Hey, should we invited Condoleezza Rice?  Maybe if we get her drunk she'll finally give Jim Webb an answer to his questions on Iran.  Ha.

Sorry to miss it. (Bernie Quigley - 2/14/2007 6:28:08 PM)
So sorry to miss it. Will be in Richmond next week bringing Number Two son to look at University of Richmond.

I'd sure hate to be... (Nick Stump - 2/14/2007 6:30:46 PM)
Secretary Rice, with Jim Webb out there in Washington waiting my reply.  I think Jim Webb terrifies the Republicans.  Talk about a worst nightmare.

Hey Lowell,

If you and the table crowd are going to be at the JJ Dinner .... you should bring the old George Allen's worse nightmare sign.

It would nice if Mary D and Susan M and the whole table could be around for a photo opportunity with the ELECTED Senator.

What ya think?

That would be cool, but... (Lowell - 2/14/2007 7:15:52 PM)
...I have no idea where that banner is these days.  Anyway, who wants to think about the guy who was going to be the Republican 2008 nominee anymore.  And I ain't talkin' about Jim Gilmore, either. :)

Speaking of which... (phriendlyjaime - 2/14/2007 7:15:08 PM)
if anyone will be spending the weekend in Richmond and wants advice on things to do, places to eat, things to see, let me know.  If you are staying overnight and are looking for Sunday stuff, let me know that too.  I'll be your Richmond tour guide.  :)

Tour guide Jaime? (drmontoya - 2/14/2007 9:01:26 PM)
Who could pass that up?

I would love to take you up on this sometime (Catzmaw - 2/14/2007 10:10:32 PM)
but can't this weekend.  Someday, though.

I'll be there (Chris Guy - 2/14/2007 11:22:20 PM)
to thank Sen. Webb for doing more in 6 days than Allen did in 6 years.

I got a "personal" email (thegools - 2/15/2007 1:37:06 AM)
from Jim Webb inviting me (personally) to hang out with him at this thank you reception before the JJ dinner......now I find out the reception is open to anyone....and I thought he wanted to hang out with only me!!  I am crushed.
