We'll be listening in, Lowell... (cycle12 - 2/11/2007 11:38:48 AM)
Best of luck, and thanks!

Steve

Okay, let me get this straight. Keep it simple because (Catzmaw - 2/11/2007 11:51:57 AM)
in my next life I'm planning to be blond.  I just click the button and it starts the feed?  Or do I click the button, go to the blogradio site, look you up, and then click on it?  Also, what does it mean when it says I can use "this portal" or choose another portal?

I'm with you, Catzmaw (Teddy - 2/11/2007 1:26:54 PM)
Is it possible to hear Lowell on the RADIO? And whatinhell do you mean, go to the button to start a feed? Are they serving snacks? :-)
In other words, please tell us how, or if, we can watch and hear Lowell on our computers. Start with turning the compooter on and go from there, gentlemen, using plain English, too, not some jargon.  And don't leave out a step you may think is obvious. It will not be obvious, believe me. Thank you.

Try clicking on the handy (Lowell - 2/11/2007 1:30:52 PM)
"listen live" button above. :)

Okay, see, I can handle that kind of instruction. (Catzmaw - 2/11/2007 1:37:30 PM)
Basic is good.  Thanks.

let me piggyback on this (teacherken - 2/11/2007 12:01:56 PM)
if you are in Fairfax and can get cable channel 10, I will be on Mark Levine's Inside Scoop tonight from 6:30-7:30.  I am sole guest, and we will be talking about education policy.  Primary focus will be NCLB, and Mark apparently wants to aruge that it is working (it ain't).  He also wants to talk about Bush's education budget.  And he probably wants to bash DC public schools.

I will have some more research to do.  And it will be interesting to see what if any questions come across the transom.

Wish me luck guys.

Perfect Timing (Eric - 2/11/2007 1:26:25 PM)
Watch Ken on TV (or the internet) and then straight to the internet for Lowell and Ben's internet radio debut.

Go get 'em, Ken! (cycle12 - 2/11/2007 12:19:18 PM)
Do they realize that they will be dealing with an avid "James Webb Democrat"?

Perhaps it would be only fair of you to warn them in advance...

Wish I could see it way down here in little old Roanoke.

Best of luck to you, too, and thanks!

Steve

Mark knows that part of my leanings (teacherken - 2/11/2007 1:36:15 PM)
I don't think he knows that I have out for Tom Vilsack for president.

Ken will be live on Mark Levine's show from 6:30 until 7:30 tonight (Used2Bneutral - 2/11/2007 2:41:10 PM)
The link for the live show is at http://www.RadioInsi... go to that site at 6:30 and hit the button that says "Listen Live" and then at 7:30 go to the link above for Lowell and Ben's show and hit that button for "Listen Live"..... Mark's show also has a live Blog http://radioinsidesc... on his web page that he refers to during his show for audience comments and the phone number to call Mark and Ken live at the TV studio is either 1-888-488-MARK (1-888-488-6275)or the local number in NoVa is 571-749-1166.

By tomorrow morning the entire one hour show with Ken will be up on Google Video.... Usually it takes me a few hours to edit and process/transcode the show and upload it to the Google servers.... Google then takes a few hours to view it for copyright issues etc. and then they usually activate the URL by about 9:00 am EST Monday..... I will post the URL here when it goes live tomorrow morning..... or if you email me, I will send you the message when it goes live. JimS@FCAC.org

OBTW, Phil Griffin from Winchester is the scheduled Republican guest for Monday night's show from 7 PM to 8 PM with the same drill for listening to it live tomorrow night and watching the video on Google by the next day during the snow storm.

question about my last appearance (teacherken - 2/11/2007 4:20:59 PM)
I did not see a link for it on Mark's website.  It would be nice to have that for my own use, along with the link for tonight.  Then my kids might be able to see what an idiot I can turn into in front of camera.  :-)

Now for that nap.

:) (Kathy Gerber - 2/11/2007 9:15:18 PM)
You all are doing a wonderful job!

Thanks, we had a lot of great calls... (Lowell - 2/11/2007 9:31:14 PM)
...and of course, Brian Moran and Adam Ebbin were excellent.

Agreed, KG: They came in loud and clear, even here in SOTJ territory (cycle12 - 2/11/2007 9:32:17 PM)
Never could get the link working in order to hear Ken, though.

Will there be a rebroadcast of his talk?

Thanks!

Steve

Ken's show from last night is now live on Google..... (Used2Bneutral - 2/12/2007 7:27:15 AM)
The full fifty-eight minute show can be found in total on the Google video site at:

http://video.google....

Ken was GREAT !!!

Tonight we have Phil Griffen and an interesting twist with Republican politics and Anna Nicole Smith....

Super, "Used2B"! (cycle12 - 2/12/2007 7:53:17 AM)
The video quality is excellent, and now we can all watch TK set the world on a better course via video...

TK, you have quite the professorial look, just as expected!

How's the weather up there?

Thanks!

Steve

I would encourage your critical input on this show (Used2Bneutral - 2/12/2007 7:58:34 AM)
and others you have seen that we have done including the political debates we did last fall.... most of these shows are done entirely by non-paid volunteers all Democrat activists who have paid for their own TV training to learn to do this show and others like it. Even Mark is un-paid for these TV shows.... his appearences on XM radio and several other shows is starting to attract some sponsorship, but I would like to be able to re-inforce the dedication of the 6 to 9 people it takes to crew a "Live" TV show besides the host and guests... also realize we are doing TWO shows a week now each with it's own crew of mostly different people.

For those who's communities have cable access stations serving their areas, we can supply master tapes or DVD's in broadcast format for you to sponsor locally on those stations and re-distribute our content FREE(or only the cost of the tape/DVD)through-out Virginia/the US.

Feed-back would be good !!!

that was fun (Jambon - 2/11/2007 9:42:34 PM)
Good job Lowell!  I hope you guys do more of these in the future.

what happened to Ben's music?  I'd give anything to hear you guys sing a duet.

Good question about the music... (Lowell - 2/11/2007 9:46:13 PM)
...did you catch the Allen clip at the beginning?

i only caught the tail end (Jambon - 2/11/2007 9:53:01 PM)
my connection was buffering for about 30 seconds after I clinked on the link so I missed the very beginning.

was it the infamous Allen gaffe?

I think you guys should open with John Ashcroft's infamous "Let the Eagle Soar".

Nice job, Lowell (J.R. - 2/12/2007 12:13:58 AM)
Congratulations.  You've been live-blogged by Bearing Drift and have had an audio commentary done about you.  I don't think we've ever done that before.

It was entertaining.  Some technical glitches, sure, but an excellent production.

Looking forward to more of them.

"Ben?  Ben?  Can you hear me?"

Thanks, so when are you going to do (Lowell - 2/12/2007 7:04:59 AM)
your own Blog Talk Radio show?  I'm sure it would be a lot more "hoeft-y" than our show! :)

P.S.  Or you could call into our show and I could "Lowell" you to sleep.  Ha.
