Thanks to Taylor Marsh for doing this.  I love the tag line, "If Republicans can't handle Iraq and Iran, Webb Democrats will show them the way." :)

P.S.  If you want to buy one, click on the photo.  I'm thinking of buying one or two myself! :)

Damn right we will (DanG - 2/10/2007 4:43:51 PM)

First item up (chiefsjen - 2/11/2007 11:27:12 AM)
I'm starting my cafepress store to feature Jim Webb products and some other political/sports stuff.

Right now, it's a basic store so there will only be a few designs and not on all products.

I'm starting with a Jim Webb Democrat bumper sticker and am selling them for $3.69/each -- I plan on donating a portion of the sales to Jim Webb's born fighting PAC.

I will be adding more stuff as the days go by, and I hope you guys visit.

the web site is: www.cafepress.com/galaxydesigns58

thanks, and if you have any suggestions for slogans, you can email them to: galaxydesigns58@gmail.com

spread the word if you feel like it too :)

thanks all!

Steve

to start designing some Webb stuff, as I did for draftmarkwarner.com -- i wasn't sure if anyone would be interested.

if you guys are interested, i guess i should start doing some stuff

:)

Great Idea, CJ! My suggestions... (cycle12 - 2/10/2007 5:12:14 PM)
Displayed somewhere on various items (shirts, caps, bumper stickers, mugs, etc.) could be a few of Jim's more recent famous quotations, such as...

"The vote is in, and we won!"

"That's between me and my boy, Mr. President."

"We will be showing you the way..."

...and, of course, in addition to Jim's most quotable remarks, there is the ever-popular pronouncement:

"My Senator is fearless - Jim Webb"

Are there other suggestions?

Please list them here...

Thanks!

Steve

I heard it said... (joe8track - 2/10/2007 6:30:25 PM)
...this morning! I attended the Stafford Democratic Committee meeting and heard David Beiler, Candidate for the 28th House District, state that he was a "Jim Webb Democrat".

Lo and behold, I tune into RK and see this posting!

I think it speaks to the folks returning to the Democratic Party, just like Jim Webb and David Beiler!

For some R's, they truly believe what the GOP stands for -  running up the nation's credit card and placing our future generations into debt; they're for the interests of the opulent few; they're for cutting safety nets and strangling the less fortunate and middle class with their bootstraps.

For the other R's, we need to stage an intervention and break their habit of voting for R's!

Remember the story of David and Goliath. Well, this David will be taking on Speaker Howell. Want to help work the slingshot?

Nice Shirt! (drmontoya - 2/10/2007 8:32:31 PM)
Who wants to get me one?!? =)

Well, Dave; now that you mention it... (cycle12 - 2/11/2007 3:02:28 AM)
Our sons are 24 and 26 (in your age range, I think...), and the youngest one - who is also in the Navy, training to be a pilot - just soloed two days ago in his T-34C trainer down in Pensacola.

Since my wife and I will be getting them the James Webb shirts for their upcoming birthdays, we may as well include you, too.

What color, size and style, please?

(Also, you need to update this list on your new son!)

Thanks!

Steve

Is the Shirt Union-Made? (knot larry sabato - 2/11/2007 1:27:24 PM)
One would hope that a shirt bearing the words James Webb and Democrat would be union-made or at least made in the USA.

It would be hypocritical for supporters of Senator Webb or those of us with populist, Democratic-leaning views to wear a shirt that was made in China or some other company where the workers are paid pennies a day and many of them are children who are treated like slaves.

FYI (Kryndis - 2/11/2007 2:23:40 PM)
This sounds suspiciously like a troll, but just in case I misinterpreted and your question is a serious one, you can check here to see which of the shirts are made in the USA and then purchase accordingly.

A nice pic. (thegools - 2/12/2007 5:17:33 PM)

Got my shirts! (cycle12 - 2/18/2007 2:35:29 PM)
One for my wife, one each for my two sons and one for me as well, and they look great - thanks!

Steve

Excellent! (Lowell - 2/18/2007 3:08:24 PM)
Here's a thought: take a photo with all of you wearing them, and post it at RK.  Or, send me the photo and I'll post it.  Thanks.
