Verified voting (a paper trail for our votes) has passed in the Virginia Senate, (SB840).  The equivalent House bill, HB2707, http://www.richmonds... is in the House Privileges and Elections subcommittee, . How about contacting the members of that subcommittee http://www.richmonds... and urge them to vote yes on a paper trail for our vote.

Audit provision (Alice Marshall - 2/4/2007 11:25:15 AM)
As I understand it Del. Rapp wants to remove the audit provision. The audit provision is one of the most important aspects of this bill, anyone living in her district should contact her and stress the importance of the audit provision.

We need to continue to contact our Delegates, the registrars who bought DRE's are putting tremendous pressure on Delegates not to pass this bill or at least water it down.

Paper by itself guarantees nothing, you need the audit provision to protect the system.

Thank you Alice for the update.  It's vital information.
