I was curious about Jerry Kilgore's claims that MS-13 is connected to Al Qaeda, so I called up my friends at Stratfor.com, "the world's leading private intelligence provider."  Here's what Stratfor's lead terrorism expert had to say:

There are absolutely NO confirmed reports or even credible reports [of an MS-13/Al Qaeda connection]. MS gangsters are street kids, average age in Central America is mid teens. I can just see Osama drinking tea with Central American street thugs that can't read or write.

For good measure, another Stratfor analyst added that, although MS-13 is a "real and present danger" and that border security needs to be strengthened, "people who say that there's a link [between MS-13 and Al Qaeda] are probably just paranoid."

Ha ha.  Yep, there you have it: Jerry Kilgore is "probably just paranoid."  Those are not my words, they're what a leading terrorism expert has to say on the subject.  Meanwhile, I'm still waiting to hear Jerry Kilgore's evidence to back up his wild claims, aside from "I read it on a right-wing blog" or whatever.  Until then, I say, "what a doofus!"  And I ask, "does Jerry Kilgore know anything about anything, is Scott "Black Hands" Howell feeding him disinformation from the fever swamps of his own dark mind, or what?"  Inquiring minds want to know.
