GA Bill Sponsorship Question

I have never done this before and the only reason I am is because I have a question.

If a Delegate works hard to devise a bill over the summer and then introduces said bill then he becomes the Sponsor of the bill, correct? If same Delegate passes the bill along for co-sponsorship or at least for another Delegate ( across the aisle) to sign onto this bill then I assume the second Delegate would NOT be the primary Sponsor. Correct?

What if the second Delegate "steals" the bill? Is that possible? It doesn't sound ethical to me but it sounds like someone  possibly could do just that.

Could any of you very wise people here comment?

Thanks!
