I had heard MLK day (pitin - 1/15/2007 1:54:50 AM)
I'm a huge Obama supporter, I hope he declares, I'd take another semester off of school to help him lock up the nomination.

Be careful (Chris Guy - 1/15/2007 2:13:31 AM)
If you take off and he wins the nomination you'll be so pumped up for the general election you'll take off for another semester. Then of course the semester after that will interfere with the inaugural festivities. Then you got the Virginia Governors race, mid-terms, Obamas re-election campaign.....

After hearing these rumors earlier..... (Ambivalent Mumblings - 1/15/2007 2:43:39 PM)
.... I did some digging around and I had a number of fairly reliable sources tell me that it was indeed true that Obama would be making his announcement today. However, I got in touch with his Senate office and a staffer told me that "there have been some rumors, but the Senator hasn't made up his mind as of yet." That was on Friday and I have yet to hear anything different.

He has, however, decided not to give a speech at Virginia Tech today and has promised that his announcement would be coming soon.

And Al Gore's (Lowell - 1/15/2007 5:36:07 PM)
not running?
