I had the honor of doing a bit of beta testing on Waldo's latest effort.  And its is a good one - something we could all use.  I highly recommend everyone check it out.

Richmond Sunlight

Hopefully the rabid Republicans won't pester Waldo over this effort.

Thanks (Waldo Jaquith - 1/9/2007 2:05:02 PM)
Thanks!  I think, as a site, it's sort of like an empty container right now.  It's up to people to fill it up: with tags, comments, votes, their own research, etc.  That's the part that I really look forward to.

I also beta tested a bit, not enough (teacherken - 1/9/2007 4:04:50 PM)
because of being stressed for time.

It will be an incredibly useful resource.  remember, we do have elections for General Assembly this year, and this will help us track what each of those we are targeting are doing.

this should be a site that all of the Democratic Committee web sites link to as a resource - great job Waldo!

Interesting Idea (Waldo Jaquith - 1/9/2007 4:39:23 PM)
Greg, you've given me an idea.  Seems to me it'd be really useful to give folks a customized widget to put on their website to track one or more legislators' bills.  Legislators could use it on their site to provide an at-a-glance indicator of what they're up to, and local parties could (as you suggest) use it to find out what all of their representatives are up to.

That's going on the to do list. :)  Thanks for that!

Get key votes in your inbox!  It may not be as exhaustive as Waldo's, though.  Go to http://www.congress....

I see Tom Davis voted against ethics reform today.
