Only one man has the experience needed to run this country; a country in the midst of great turmoil. Only one man has the drive necessary to keep the fight alive. Only one man can run the race necessary to bring integrity back to government.
He has been to the edge. He was worked side-by-side with the most successful President in recent history. He has taken a step back from the political world. How often can we find somebody with the political experience of a vice-president and the fresh look of a new voice? Al Gore.
I would encourage every one of you to sign the petition above, even if you support somebody else. Only once in a lifetime do we get a second chance at what might have been.
Gore may not be a perfect match with me ideologically. But Gore has the experience, and Gore can win. We need, more than anything, to end Republican abuse of the Executive Branch. Sign the petition. Draft Al Gore.
If Gore doesn't run, I'll most likely support Edwards. But for now, I'm hoping that Gore gives it a go.
