The state of education after a half-decade of Warner/Kaine leadership gets results:
Virginia children have the best chance to succeed according to EducationWeek Magazine.

Parents' education, kindergarten enrollment, and student test scores were among the factors putting the commonwealth on top of other states.

The nationwide report showed Virginia kids have the greatest opportunity to advance academically and professionally. The news is pushing local educators even further for the kids.

Pretty impressive - Virginia scored the highest of all states in the report's "Chances-For-Success" index. The report looked at both the state of education and indirect factors like stable incomes and jobs for parents. Virginia scored well above the national average in nearly all of these facets of education - from preschool enrollment to high school graduation rates.
