This is what was originally going to be done on January 10, but for a variety of reasons there has been a scramble, and this is now what is planned.  If you can make it, great.

The material above the fold is stolen from swingstateproject  (DavidNYC operates there) - it should get up on dailykos and mydd as well

but I thought I should get it out to folks asap

please email others who might not see raisingkaine.

from a comment at swingstate:

Also, a warning for those going to MCCXXIII: they can be strict about their dress code.  Their site isn't very usable, but I did find it described elsewhere as "No Athletic wear, no rugged wear, no boots, no timberlands, no hats, no sneakers, no shorts, no flip-flops, and no baggy jeans." Presumably it'll be no problem for people who've been to congressional open houses earlier.

I'll be there (pitin - 1/3/2007 3:27:24 AM)
yeah, basically no sneakers or Jeans are the big rules for MCCXXIII (1223 for those non-Romans amongst us).

Speaking of dress codes, the dress code for my New Years party in NYC was "dress festively" talk about a crappy dress code.

Everyone should go to this event, and if your on facebook, here is the link to the event.

Anything happening Wed. pm? (elevandoski - 1/2/2007 6:49:27 PM)
Me and some folks from Chesapeake are going up tomorrow but heading home after the Open House Thursday.  Does anybody know of any happenings after the Arlington festivities on Wednesday?
