U.S. military disapproves of their boss

Another pillar falls:
The American military GÇö once a staunch supporter of President Bush and the Iraq war GÇö has grown increasingly pessimistic about chances for victory.

For the first time, more troops disapprove of the presidentGÇÖs handling of the war than approve of it. Barely one-third of service members approve of the way the president is handling the war, according to the 2006 Military Times Poll.

Only 35% approve of Bush's handling the war, while 42% said they disapproved - down from his 63% approval number in 2004. And 41% agree that we should have invaded Iraq in the first place, down from 65% in 2003.

So, how long before Robertson and Co. to accuse the troops of being unpatriotic?

Why won't the troops support... the troops? (Josh - 12/29/2006 9:33:01 PM)

Blame America First Military? (drmontoya - 12/30/2006 8:38:57 AM)
No, we (the troops) just aren't that stupid. We can see everything clear whether we are serving in Iraq or elsewhere. I will refrain from being critical of the President but I will say that the troops aren't happy with what's been happening to the military.
