Iraq War Deaths Top 37,000

I received this yesterday from a friend, and thought I'd pass it on.

The ever-escalating conflict and casualty count in Operation Iraqi Freedom prompts a sober and somber review of the enormous human suffering caused by George W. Bush's lies and his vainglorious religious visions: more than 37,000 killed since March 2003.  I believe we should begin demanding that the mainstream media report the total number of deaths, instead of focusing only on U.S. service member deaths.

U.S. Service Members Killed: 2,127
Coalition Service Members Killed: 210
Iraqi Service Members (Police/Guard paid and trained by U.S.) Killed: 3,697
Total Service Members Killed: 6,025

U.S. Civilian Contractors Killed: 286
Iraqi Civilians Killed: 30,879
Total Civilians Killed: 31,165

Grand Total Killed in Iraq War since March 2003: 37,190

Sobering stuff, huh?  Has this war been worth the cost?  What do you think?
