Falls Church VFW Post 9274 extends on open house party for the Webb campaign staff and fellow Veterans. Gordon Holsinger, who was with Jim's HHC in Vietnam, is a great chef who has agreed to prepare a great dinner VFW Post on:

Tonight, December 15, 2006 at 8 pm.

POC: VFW Commander, Bob Smith: bobsmith1@comcast.net

The post is located at 7118 Shreve Rd in Falls Church.  That is at the end
of the city limits on Route 7 West.  Make a left onto Shreve Rd.  If you
make a right you will be on Haycock Rd and you don't want to do that.  We
are behind the McDonald's and you can park in the office building parking
lot in front of the post.  Lost:  Call 703-241-9274 for directions.

FYI (drmontoya - 12/15/2006 4:32:34 PM)
Senator Elect Webb is not scheduled to attend this event tonight, hoping though in a miracle he does though!

I don't know. It would be awfully hard (Catzmaw - 12/15/2006 5:33:22 PM)
to leave the new baby and her mom.

It would be (drmontoya - 12/15/2006 5:35:18 PM)
hard, I know. But, us Vets will have a good time!

Hoorah!

Well, just in case, you should make sure to have (Catzmaw - 12/15/2006 5:39:26 PM)
a big box of "ceegars" on hand for the proud daddy.  And it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to drink a toast or too, with or without dad's attendance.  You can never have enough rounds of good wishes for a baby and family.

some of us committed2 this already (teacherken - 12/15/2006 5:46:16 PM)

webb saturday (pvogel - 12/15/2006 6:29:24 PM)
I wouldnt be surprised If Jim Webb does not attend the Aldos Brunch Tomorrow.

If he does, My guess is that he wont be there more than 20 minutes. Oh well, it will be a sweet moment anyways!

Tomorrow (drmontoya - 12/15/2006 6:43:51 PM)
speaking of tomorrow, not only will Webb probably only attend for a short period but it will be very very packed. Over 400+ RSVP'd. They even had to Rent a tent for an extension of the party outside.

Webb is set to attend Thank You Brunch (George Burke - 12/15/2006 7:41:41 PM)
Senator-elect Webb's staff confirmed to me today that he will be at the Volunteer Thank You Brunch at Aldo's on Saturday.
