New Virginia Democratic Blog: "The 10th State"

There's an excellent new blog lurking out there in the wilds of the Virginia blogosphere.  It's called "the 10th state: a blog about Virginia," and the owner is an excellent writer named "musegirl."  Check out her latest piece, "Decode This, Jerry...", which talks about the Kilgore campaign's latest cheap trick of handing out cheap plastic "decoder rings" (maybe you don't want to know!).  Here's an excerpt:

How is anybody supposed to take Jerry Kilgore seriously when he comports himself like this? Resorting to cheap metaphors. Nitpicking an opponent's word choices rather than addressing constructive ideas. Projecting and cultivating negativity. It's like he's running for Senior Class President, not Governor of a diverse and complicated Commonwealth. If you've given money to his campaign, I hope you are delighted that he spent it on cheap plastic.

Anyway, welcome to the Virginia blogosphere, "musegirl."  And if you're REALLY successful, maybe some day, someone might start doing a series on how your blog actually HURTS Tim Kaine.  No question, that's when you know you've really made it as a successful Virginia blogger - when semi-pseudonymous Republicans tell you simultaneously that  a) you're irrelevant and nobody reads you and b) you're so important that they need to devote a multi-part series to "critiquing" (yeah, that's what it is, "critiquing!"  ha ha) your blog.  Good luck! :)
