John Aravosis has good connections, and does not explain how he got this information, but here are his "anticipated" committee assignments in the Senate on the Democratic side.http://americablog.b...

He has Jim Webb on Armed Services, Foreign Relations, Veterans, and the Joint Economic Committee (whatever that is).
Here's his full list:

hmmm (TurnVirginiaBlue - 11/14/2006 7:14:23 PM)
It seems to me a lot of the nasty against working America has been coming from the Judiciary committee actually and I don't like that mix, looks like the Corpocrats of the Democratic party. In other words, a lot of insourcing techniques for labor arbitrage per the US Chamber of Commerce and the ITAA.

I sure wish they had one "populist" economist on that committee.

I wish he had oversite of Commerce (relawson - 11/15/2006 10:25:21 PM)
That is a source of mucho corruption.  Remember the career researchers who lost their jobs for being honest in their research on offshoring?  Just pathetic.

We need to figure out how to clone Jim Webb and put him on every committee ;-)  Actually, more than one on each, as long as we are cloning ;-)

Just kidding about the cloning, Republicans.  I know how you frown on that.

Sen-Elect Jim Webb Rocks! (drmontoya - 11/14/2006 9:12:56 PM)
seriously. I am so glad he's going to the senate!
